Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg cucumber(s)
- 4 tbsp vinegar
- 2 tsp salt
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 2 onions
- 2 cloves garlic
- 20 peppercorns
- 1 tbsp mustard seeds
- 1 bay leaf
- e.g. Dill, fresh, finely chopped
- e.g. chili
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 15 minutes
Peel the cucumbers, halve them, remove the seeds, and cut them into larger pieces. Mix them in a bowl with all the spices. Stir occasionally. The cucumbers are ready to eat after 24 hours.
