quick and super easy and above all delicious
Peel, core, and quarter the apples. Then make a slit lengthwise along the back, but don’t cut all the way through, to create a fan. To prevent the apples from turning brown, you can drizzle them with lemon juice (but it’s so quick that this has never happened to me). At this point, preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Beat the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, and eggs together for 5 minutes until light and fluffy, then add the milk. Sift the flour and baking powder and stir in. Beat for about 3-5 minutes until creamy. Pour the batter into a greased springform pan and arrange the apples next to each other on the batter, with the slits facing up. Bake on the middle rack for about 40 minutes; do the skewer test. About 10 minutes before it’s done, I sprinkle a little sugar over the cake.
