Delicious Light Quark Muffins with Yeast

  • 160 g Flour
  • 0,5 packet Dry yeast
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 150 g Lowfat quark
  • 40 ml Milk
  • 40 g Soft butter
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  1. First of all, grease the muffin tin or use sweet paper baking cases. The oven is preheated to 180 degrees circulating air.
  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, dry yeast, sugar and salt together.
  1. Mix the milk and low-fat quark in another bowl until frothy. Gradually add the butter, vanilla extract, egg and flour mixture. Then let the dough rise for 30 minutes.
  1. Briefly stir the dough and pour it into the muffin cups. Let stand for another 60 minutes so that the mixture rises nicely and the muffins look great later.
  1. Then just slide the muffins into the oven and bake until golden brown for 20 minutes.
