Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 500 g minced meat
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 clove(s) garlic
- 1 can of chopped tomatoes or 3 fresh tomatoes
- 1 bell pepper(s)
- 400 ml vegetable stock
- 1 tsp, heaped cinnamon
- Salt
- pepper
- olive oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Sauté the onions and garlic in olive oil. Salt the onions immediately so they don’t become sweet. Then add the minced meat. Brown them well and season with cinnamon, salt, and pepper while browning. After about 5 minutes, when the meat is no longer too raw, add the tomatoes and bell peppers. Sauté for at least another 5 minutes, adding a little salt again. Finally, deglaze with the hot vegetable stock and continue to simmer if desired. I let it simmer until the sauce has thickened a little. However, I also like it a little runny here. Season again with salt and cinnamon at the end. We like to eat it with rice as a side dish, but pasta is also great.
