Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 500 g minced meat
- 1 cube of stock
- 250 ml water, hot
- 1 tsp Italian herbs
- 2 cans tomatoes, chopped
- 2 tsp tomato paste
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Brown the ground beef. Dissolve a stock cube in about 1/4 liter of hot water and add it. Also add the Italian herbs. Drain the tomatoes in a bowl and collect the juice. Add the chopped tomatoes and 2-3 tablespoons of the tomato juice to the ground beef. Add the tomato paste and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for about 5 minutes. Add more tomato juice, herbs, salt, or pepper to taste.
