Dill cream sauce for fried fish

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 ml cream
  • 1 bunch dill, fresh
  • some chives
  • salt and pepper
  • some lemon juice
  • 1 cup milk
  • some butter for butter flakes
  • possibly flour

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Add the cream and milk to the pan used to cook the fish and bring to a boil, then add the lemon juice. Gradually stir in the butter flakes and cook over medium heat until thickened to the desired consistency, adding a little flour if necessary. Season with salt and pepper. Just before serving, add the finely chopped herbs and heat gently to retain the flavor.
