Djuvec rice with whole grain rice and wild rice

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g whole grain rice
  • 50 g wild rice
  • 600 ml vegetable stock
  • 4 onions
  • 4 tsp paprika powder
  • 4 pinches of pepper
  • 4 bell peppers, red
  • 1 can/n tomatoes, chopped (400 g)
  • 1 jar of ajvar
  • 8 garlic cloves

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Dice the onions and bell peppers, and mince the garlic. Bring the broth to a boil with the brown rice, wild rice, and onions and simmer for 20 minutes. Then add the remaining ingredients one at a time and simmer for another 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
