Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g bacon cubes
  • little oil
  • 480 g wheat flour, sifted
  • 2 tbsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 360 ml milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

for those who want a bit more hearty breakfast

Fry the bacon in a hot pan with a little oil. Mix all the remaining ingredients well. Remove the bacon bits from the pan and mix them with the mixture. Leave the bacon fat in the pan. Pour the batter into the pan in portions (size as desired). Flip the pancakes when they are golden brown and starting to dry around the edges. Serve while still hot with maple syrup, beet syrup, or honey, depending on your taste.
