Doctor Explains How Fruit Consumption and Liver Disease are Related

The doctor reminded me that fruit contains carbohydrates, glucose, and fructose. If you eat the fruit in large quantities, the latter can lead to non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. To avoid this problem, you need to separate fruits when eating them and avoid excessive love for them.

“Stone fruits contain more glucose and less fructose. And seed fruits contain more fructose and less glucose,” she added. For example, apples contain much more fructose, while apricots contain more glucose.

The endocrinologist explained that glucose is processed under the influence of insulin. Then it is converted into energy and fat reserves. She named the causes of the organ’s diseases: fructose is all captured by liver proteins.

The doctor advised eating fruit with other foods. Eating fruit, a person receives glucose and fructose, which leads to the release of insulin. Protein will help to avoid liver disease.
