Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 400 g minced meat (pork mince), coarse
- ½ red bell pepper(s), sliced into fine pieces
- 1 onion(s), finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove(s), squeezed
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp paprika powder, hot
- 1 pinch of chili powder
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp parsley, dried or 1/2 bunch fresh, finely chopped
- some breadcrumbs, if needed
- Fat, for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
Meat cakes
Knead the minced meat with the salt and let it rest in the refrigerator. Meanwhile, lightly sauté the diced onion, add the garlic and parsley, and later add the sliced bell pepper. Let it cool. Knead all ingredients into a smooth dough and form meatballs. Fry thoroughly in fat. This also works well on the grill. Serve with garlic sauce, white bread, and a fresh salad.
