very tasty cheeseburger with Swiss Gruyère
Halve the onion and cut into strips about 2mm thick. Sauté together with the pickles. The onions can be a little browned. Meanwhile, cut open the sesame bun and, after the onions, briefly toast it in the pan. Mix the sauce and season with salt and pepper to taste. Once the bun is nicely browned, fry the patties (without any toppings) on one side, turn them over, and top each with two slices of cheese and a generous amount of onion. Then cover the pan so the cheese melts nicely. Spread the sauce on the underside of the bun and top with lettuce. Then place the two patties with cheese and onions on top (spread a little sauce between them if desired). Finally, add the pickles, spread the sauce on the top of the bun and press it down lightly. Finally, briefly place the burger in the pan and cover so that all the ingredients get nice and warm again.
