Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 cup mascarpone (250g)
- 1 cup sour cream (200g)
- 400 g sour cherries
- 180 g biscuits, amaretti biscuits
- 100 g marzipan paste
- ½ packet of vanilla sugar
- cream
- Amaretto
- Chocolate shavings, dark
Instructions

Drain the cherries WELL. Place the amaretti biscuits in a bowl and drizzle with amaretto; let them soften. Heat about 100g of cream in a small saucepan and melt the marzipan while stirring until you have a marzipan cream. Let it cool. Meanwhile, mix the mascarpone and sour cream and add a little cream until you get a smooth, fine consistency. Add the vanilla sugar and finally stir in the marzipan cream. Layer the cherries, amaretti biscuits, and cream in bowls/glasses one after the other and chill. Just before serving, decorate with chocolate shavings and, if desired, a few cherries and amaretti biscuits. TIP: If you want to make the dessert alcohol-free, you can leave out the amaretto and crumble the amaretti biscuits and layer them in. This also tastes delicious.
