Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 pkt. dumpling dough, Thuringian style from the refrigerated section
- 1 cup of sweet cream
- 200 ml milk
- 4 slices of toast
- some butter
- salt and pepper
- marjoram
- ½ pkt. ham cubes
- Chives for decoration
- 100 g cheese, grated

Cut the bread into cubes and toast in butter, then let cool. Form the dough into 12 dumplings, placing a few cubes of bread in the center. Place in a baking dish. Add the ham cubes to taste. Mix the cream, milk, salt, pepper, and marjoram together, and pour over the dumplings. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 160°C (320°F) with fan assisted oven for about 1 hour. Sprinkle with chives before serving.
