Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 2 rolls
  • 2 eggs
  • some salt
  • e.g. milk, cold

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cut the rolls into cubes and toast them in a pan until light brown. Put the flour in a bowl and mix with a little salt and cold milk, if desired. Now add the eggs and rolls to the batter and mix. Using a wet tablespoon, form the mixture into dumplings and place them in a pot of boiling water. Simmer for about 15-20 minutes. Serve hot.
