Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g flour
- 1 pinch of salt
- 200 g sugar (brown sugar)
- 1 small egg(s)
- 225 g butter, soft
- Milk for brushing
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Dutch Boterkoek
Using a hand mixer’s dough hook, combine flour, salt, caster sugar, egg, and butter into a dough and press into a tart pan (22-24 cm in diameter). Brush with a little milk and use a fork to make stripes lengthwise and crosswise. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (convection oven) for approximately 22-25 minutes. Once cooled, cut the cake into bite-sized pieces.
