Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 kg sugar
  • 1 liter of water
  • 5 tbsp, heaped tea (Earl Grey tea)
  • 1 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 20 g fresh ginger
  • 2 pinches of cardamom powder
  • 1 lemon(s), organic

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 35 minutes

Dissolve the sugar in boiling water. Add the remaining ingredients, except the lemon, and let it steep for 30 minutes. Then pour the syrup through a fine sieve, bottle, and refrigerate for at least 3 hours. Half-fill the glasses with crushed ice and add 4-5 tablespoons of syrup and lemon juice to taste. Top with cold, still water. 136 kcal per serving.
