Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes
The measuring glass holds 250 ml. Melt the margarine in a saucepan, then stir in the sugar, water, vanilla sugar, and cocoa. Bring to a boil while stirring and simmer gently for about 3 minutes. The mixture must now cool to about 30°C. Separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Stir the vodka and egg yolks into the sugar-margarine mixture, then combine the flour and baking powder and stir in. Finally, fold in the beaten egg whites and pour the batter into a greased or lined loaf pan. Bake in the oven at 180°C (convection oven) for about 45 minutes.
