EggMc – Muffin

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 wheat toastie (from Golden Toast)
  • 1 slice(s) bacon
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 slice(s) cheese , (toast slice)
  • butter
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

similar to McDonald’s, the kids love it

Cut the toastie in half and toast until light brown. Fry the bacon slice in a small, non-stick frying pan until slightly crispy. Crack the egg onto it, turn the heat down to low. Cover. After about 2 minutes, carefully flip the egg and bacon slice over, and fry for another 2 minutes. The yolk should no longer be runny, but rather creamy to firm. But it shouldn’t be dry either. Flip it back, place the slice on top, and cover until the slice is melted. Place the toastie on a plate, add the egg, and add the second toastie half. Done! Be careful, it’s very hot; it’s easy to burn your mouth. My daughter likes to take the Egg McMuffin to school as a snack. Made in the morning, it still tastes good during recess! Vegetarians can leave out the bacon; it tastes good even then.
