Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 8 egg yolks, size M
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 vanilla pod(s), pulp
  • 400 ml milk
  • 100 ml whipped cream
  • 250 ml pear schnapps (Prima Sprit 69.9% vol.)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

In a bowl, combine 8 egg yolks, 1 sachet of vanilla sugar, and the vanilla seeds with a mixer. Transfer the mixture to a suitable saucepan and place it in a bain-marie. Add the milk and cream to the egg mixture and heat gently while stirring, but do not allow to boil. Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in 250 ml of Prima Sprit 69.9%. Bottle the advocaat and refrigerate.
