Eggnog cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 shot of milk
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 125 g butter, soft
  • 125 ml eggnog
  • 60 g chocolate shavings
  • 100 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • e.g. Cake icing (chocolate)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cream the butter in a bowl until fluffy, then gradually add the sugar, vanilla sugar, and eggs. Add the flour, baking powder, hazelnuts, and cinnamon and mix. Finally, add the milk, egg liqueur, and chocolate shavings to the bowl and mix. Tip: If the batter is too runny, add a little more flour; if it’s too stiff, add a little more milk. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and bake at 180 degrees Celsius (convection oven) for 50-60 minutes. If desired, glaze with chocolate icing, but only after the cake has cooled completely.
