Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 5 eggs
- 250 g powdered sugar
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 250 ml egg liqueur
- 250 ml oil, neutral in taste (e.g. sunflower oil)
- 125 g flour
- 125 g cornstarch
- 1 packet of baking powder
- possibly butter for the mold
- possibly flour or breadcrumbs for the mold

Combine eggs, powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt in a bowl and beat until creamy. Slowly add the oil and egg liqueur and mix well. Mix the flour, baking powder, and cornstarch and fold into the mixture. Pour the batter into a baking dish lined with baking paper or greased and floured or breadcrumbed. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (convection oven) for about 50 to 60 minutes. Tips: If you like, you can make a marble cake. Simply pour 2/3 of the batter into the dish and mix the rest with a little cocoa powder. Then pour the dark batter over the top and mix with a fork to create a spiral. Cheap egg liqueur is perfectly fine for this cake. The cake will still be very moist even after days—assuming it ages that well. If you want to save some calories, you can bake the cake with half-fat butter instead of oil.
