Elderberry jelly with almond liqueur

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • ¾ liter elderberry juice
  • 1 kg gelling sugar, 1:1
  • 2 cl Amaretto (almond liqueur)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Bring the elderberry juice and gelling sugar to a boil in a large saucepan, stirring continuously. Boil gently for four minutes. Add the Amaretto and pour the hot liquid into sterilized jars. Seal tightly and turn upside down for about 15 minutes to allow air to escape and create a vacuum. If you don’t like the classic elderberry flavor, you’ll love this combination.
