Ingredients

Elderflower syrup:

  • 400 ml Water
  • 4 tbsp Honey liquid
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 150 g Elderberry umbels, white
  • 1 tbsp Lemon essence

Instructions

Processing:

  • Measure the ingredients and put them completely (with honey and sugar) in a saucepan and slowly simmer and cook for 2 minutes at the boiling point. Then pull the liquid through without further heat and let it cool down. You are welcome to leave it well covered for a few more days.

Filter and fill:

  • Now filter the mass with the liquid with a sieve and paper towel into a blender jar, free of cloud particles and residue. Then use a funnel to fill suitable, sterile bottles that are easy to close.

Uses:

  • Elderflower syrup for bartending with sparkling wine, wine, drinks and as a topping for ice cream, fruits and desserts.
