Ingredients
Elderflower syrup:
- 400 ml Water
- 4 tbsp Honey liquid
- 100 g Sugar
- 150 g Elderberry umbels, white
- 1 tbsp Lemon essence
Instructions
Processing:
- Measure the ingredients and put them completely (with honey and sugar) in a saucepan and slowly simmer and cook for 2 minutes at the boiling point. Then pull the liquid through without further heat and let it cool down. You are welcome to leave it well covered for a few more days.
Filter and fill:
- Now filter the mass with the liquid with a sieve and paper towel into a blender jar, free of cloud particles and residue. Then use a funnel to fill suitable, sterile bottles that are easy to close.
Uses:
- Elderflower syrup for bartending with sparkling wine, wine, drinks and as a topping for ice cream, fruits and desserts.
