Endive salad with onion cream dressing

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 head of lettuce (endive)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1 onion(s), red
  • 2 tbsp vinegar (herb vinegar)
  • n. B. Salt
  • n. B. Pepper, black, ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the endive into very fine strips and rinse in plenty of water. Spin the lettuce thoroughly in a salad spinner until dry. Combine the sour cream, 3/4 of the heavy cream, and the vinegar in a bowl. Peel and finely dice the onion. Add to the sauce and season with salt and pepper. Add the finely chopped endive to the dressing and mix well. Also delicious with lamb’s lettuce or Lollo Bianco.
