Exotic mulled wine with cane sugar

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 ml water
  • 500 ml white wine, sweet (e.g. Auslese)
  • 2 star anise
  • 6 cardamom seeds
  • 1 piece(s) lemongrass (small piece)
  • 4 tbsp cane sugar (more if needed)

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Combine the water, sweet wine, and spices and bring to a boil. Then cover and let steep for about 15 minutes. Strain and serve hot, adding more sweetener if desired.
