Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 430 g apricot(s), canned
  • 300 g cream quark
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ½ packet of vanilla sugar
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 4 slices of rusk

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Pour the juice from the preserved apricots and let them drain well in a sieve. Take a large bowl and add the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla sugar, and milk. Mix everything well. Place a slice of rusk on a plate and spread the quark cream over it so that the rusk is no longer visible. Finally, place half an apricot, convex side up, in the cream. Tip: You can also sprinkle a little cinnamon on top; this will resemble paprika powder.
