Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g beans, green
  • 2 onions
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Caraway seeds

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Trim the beans, cut them into pieces, and cook them in boiling water until al dente. Then drain the beans through a sieve. Peel and dice the onions. Sauté the onions with the beans and a little caraway seeds until light brown (it’s okay if you like). Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot. Perfect with buttered bread, mashed potatoes, or as a side dish to savory dishes.
