Farfalle with carrots and bratwurst

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500g farfalle
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 bratwurst, very fine
  • 3 m.-large carrot(s)
  • 1 chili pepper(s), dried
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 pkt. tomatoes, pureed

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Dice the onions and sauté them in a pan with the crushed garlic in olive oil until translucent. Add the sausage filling (without the casings), mash it finely with a fork, and fry. Finely grate the carrots and fry briefly, then add the passata, season with chili and oregano, and simmer for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the farfalle until almost al dente. Finally, let it simmer in the pan with the sauce for two minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
