Farmer’s Salad

The perfect farmer’s salad recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 pole Leek
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 250 g Feta cheese
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 200 g Sour cream
  • 50 ml Water
  • 4 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Mustard
  • 1 tsp Seasoned salt from my KB
  • 1 tsp Garlic pepper from my KB
  • 1 pinch Fenugreek powder
  • 1 pinch Telly cherry pepper
  1. Clean the leek, cut into rings and rinse with cold water. Wash the tomatoes, quarter them (we don’t like juice and seeds, they will go away) and dice finely. Wash the cucumber, cut in half lengthways, remove the core with a teaspoon, cut into slices. Cut the feta into small cubes.
  2. Mix the sour cream, water, vinegar, honey, seasoned salt, garip pepper, fenugreek, pepper well and rub in the garlic. Then fold in the leeks, tomatoes, cucumber and feta! Let it steep for a few hours! Optional overnight! If you like, you can also cut a red onion into it! 🙂
  3. Goes great with grilled & pan-fried food!
