Fattoush – bread salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 flatbreads (pita)
  • 2 cucumbers
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 onion(s), red
  • 1 bunch parsley, flat
  • Coriander leaves, fresh
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • olive oil
  • Salt
  • lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Arabic cuisine

Dice the tomatoes, chop the red onion, and dice the cucumber. Break the flatbread into small pieces and lightly toast. Mix all ingredients together and toss with the salad dressing made from olive oil and lemon juice.
