Fermented walnut and mushroom spread

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cup walnuts, approx. 125 g
  • 1 tbsp bread kvass
  • 1 handful of mushrooms, of your choice
  • 1 pinch(s) of salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch(s) of turmeric powder
  • 1 pinch(s) paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest period approx. 2 days; Total time approx. 2 days 5 minutes

Soak the walnuts in water for about 24 hours. Drain and rinse. Blend with sourdough and spices in a blender. Dice the mushrooms very finely and mix with the walnut puree. Place everything in a mason jar and let it ferment for 24 hours.
