Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g runner beans
  • 1 carrot(s)
  • 2 onions
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 400 g minced meat
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp apricot jam
  • 200 ml vegetable stock
  • 1 tbsp sambal oelek
  • 1 tsp coriander seeds, ground

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

quick and easy

Clean the green beans and cut into bite-sized pieces. Peel the carrot and cut into small cubes. Peel the onions and cut into half-moons. Toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan, then set aside. Heat oil in a wide, deep pan and sear the minced meat, seasoning with salt and pepper. Add the onions and carrot and fry briefly. Add the beans and tomato paste and sauté briefly. Add the vegetable stock, apricot jam, sambal oelek, and coriander. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes, until the beans are tender. Season to taste. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve with rice.
