Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g Spätzle (Swabian Spätzle), ready-made product or homemade
- 500 g minced meat, mixed
- 1 m.-sized onion(s)
- 200 g mushrooms, fresh or from the can
- 500 g Chinese cabbage
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- some salt and pepper
- some paprika powder
- some oregano
- some water or broth
- e.g. Tabasco
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
Cook the spaetzle until al dente. In the meantime, finely chop the onion and slice the mushrooms and Chinese cabbage. Sauté the minced meat with the onion until crisp and season generously with salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano. Add the mushrooms and tomato paste. Finally, stir in the Chinese cabbage, add a little water or broth, and simmer for about 15 minutes. Finally, add the Tabasco sauce and season with salt and pepper. Mix everything together with the spaetzle.
