  • 250 g marzipan – raw mass

  • 2 cl rum
  • 8 figs, dried (or other dried fruit)
  • 4 tbsp jam (orange jam)
  • 100 g brittle crumble

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

small coffee confectionery

Knead together the marzipan, powdered sugar, and rum. Quarter the figs and coat them in the marzipan. Heat the jam gently and dip the marzipan balls in the jam, then roll them in the brittle crumbles. Let them dry thoroughly on parchment paper and store in a tightly sealed container. Tip: Other dried fruit is also perfect. Simply chop apricots, plums, or dates in the same way and coat them in marzipan. Whole Amarena cherries also work well. Then, for example, replace the rum with Kirchwasser (cherry brandy). They also make a great gift or small present wrapped in cellophane! The brittle crumbles can also be replaced with pistachio flour (ground pistachios), cocoa powder, orange sugar (sugar mixed with orange flavoring), or something similar!
