Fig salad with honey dressing

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 10 figs, fresh
  • 5 leaves of oak leaf lettuce
  • 8 small goat cheeses
  • 1 handful of basil, fresh
  • 8 slices of ham (Serrano)
  • 1 tbsp, sautéed peppercorns, pink, red, crushed in a mortar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, very good
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

delicious and easy

Line a large bowl with lettuce leaves. Cut the figs crosswise and press the bottoms together to create a flower. Roll the Serrano ham and arrange it on the salad with the goat cheese and figs. Drizzle with a little olive oil. Warm the balsamic vinegar and honey in a small pan and mix well. Pour the dressing over the salad and sprinkle with basil and red pepper. Serve with a light red wine and a loaf of white bread.
