Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g flour
  • 130 g almond(s), finely ground
  • 100 ml olive oil
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 tsp rose water
  • Almond(s), for decoration

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Turkish recipe – with coffee or tea

Combine flour, almonds, cinnamon, and sugar in a bowl and mix. Add olive oil and rose water and mix with a hand mixer. The dough should be sticky/coarse. Line a baking sheet or casserole dish with parchment paper and spread the dough on it. Bake in the oven at 160 degrees Celsius (320 degrees Fahrenheit) for approximately 20-25 minutes. Once cooled, cut into diamond shapes and decorate with almonds.
