Figs in almond cream

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 figs
  • 4 cl cherry liqueur
  • 250 ml whipped cream
  • 1 cup of yogurt
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 4 drops of bitter almond flavor
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp almonds, ground
  • some lemon balm

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

with cherry liqueur

Wash and quarter the figs, drizzle with liqueur, and marinate in the refrigerator for one hour. Whip the cream until stiff. Stir the yogurt, vanilla sugar, bitter almond oil, sugar, and almonds into the stiff cream. Serve the almond cream with the figs and garnish with lemon balm. Tip: You can also heat the almond cream slightly and serve it warm.
