Fine Gingerbread
The perfect fine gingerbread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 gr Ground hazelnuts
- 375 gr Brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Flour
- 2 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp Ground cloves
- 100 gr Lemon peel
- 100 gr Orange peel
- 2 Msp Deer horn salt
- 5 Eggs
- 1 pinch Salt
- Nutmeg or mace
- Cardamom
- Baking wafers
- Mix all of the above ingredients one after the other to form a nice, smooth dough.
- Place the dough on wafers and bake at 160 degrees for about 20-25 minutes.
- Depending on your taste, coat the finished gingerbread with a chocolate glaze or sugar glaze (powdered sugar and water or lemon juice) and let it dry.
- Gingerbread molding is easier with a gingerbread bell. These are available in three different sizes in the well-stocked household goods store.
