Fine semolina soup

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 ml milk
  • 4 tsp semolina
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 lemon(s), untreated
  • possibly honey
  • possibly cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Bring 300 ml of milk to a boil. As soon as it starts to rise, add the semolina and turn off the heat. Stir until the soup thickens. First add the sugar, then the butter. Pour the soup into 2 bowls and grate some lemon zest over it. Serve with a slice of bread or a roll! The low-fat version: use low-fat milk and sweeten with a little honey instead of sugar. Leave out the butter! I always add cinnamon to the soup instead of the lemon zest; it tastes delicious!
