Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 cups of cream
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 bunch of dill
  • some salt and pepper
  • 1 apple
  • 4 gherkins
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 10 herring fillets

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Combine the cream, sour cream, pepper, salt, and dill. Dice the apple and gherkins, quarter the tomatoes, and slice the onion. Cut the herring fillets into pieces. Mix everything together and let it marinate. This is delicious with boiled potatoes. Tip: If desired, soak the herring fillets for about 2 hours beforehand.
