Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 16 fish fingers (frozen)
  • 4 slices of toast
  • 20 g butter
  • some oil
  • 4 slices of pineapple
  • 4 slices of cheese (Gouda)
  • 4 cocktail cherries
  • Pepper, black from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Fry the fish fingers in oil in a pan until crispy, according to the package instructions. Toast 4 slices of bread and spread with 20g of butter. Place the bread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Top with the fish fingers, pineapple rings, and Gouda cheese, and season with freshly ground pepper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 5-7 minutes. Garnish with 4 cocktail cherries. I usually serve this with a mixed salad and a light dressing.
