Flea rolls

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 80 g almond flour or ground almonds
  • 40 g psyllium husks
  • 7 g baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 150 ml boiling water

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Gluten-free and compatible with irritable bowel syndrome

Mix the almond flour, psyllium husks, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Whisk the eggs thoroughly in a separate bowl and then stir them in. Then add the boiling water and stir well until a sticky dough forms. The psyllium husks swell immediately after coming into contact with water, so stir quickly. Now form 6 small rolls and place them on a baking tray. Bake at 180°C for approx. 15-20 minutes until golden brown. These rolls are perfect for people with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), as they are made without flour and are very well tolerated thanks to the psyllium husks. Psyllium husks are available in health food stores or drugstores, for example.
