Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg chicken, grilled or fried
  • 3 bananas
  • 100 ml whipped cream
  • 40 ml chili sauce
  • 150g bacon
  • 30 g peanuts, roasted and salted
  • some herbs of Provence
  • some curry powder
  • some black pepper
  • n. B. Salt
  • e.g. chili powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Flying Jacob – a Swedish recipe

Pull the chicken meat off and arrange it in a baking dish. Sprinkle with Provençal herbs and pepper, then arrange the bacon on top of the chicken. Slice the bananas and arrange them over the bacon. Mix together the whipped cream, chili sauce, curry powder, and salt and chili powder, if desired, and then pour over the chicken, bacon, and bananas to coat. Sprinkle the peanuts evenly over the mixture. Bake in the oven at 220°C for about 20 minutes. Serve with rice or white bread and salad.
