French Orange Cookies

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 25 ml orange juice
  • 50 ml milk
  • 300 g flour
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 100 g butter, melted

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Combine the sugar, juice, and half of the milk with the eggs and beat until fluffy. Combine the sifted flour and baking powder and stir in. Mix in the remaining milk and add the warm, melted butter. Drop the dough, tablespoon at a time, onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper (it will spread!!). Bake at 200-220°C for about 8-12 minutes, until the edges are lightly browned. Leave on the baking sheet for a short while, then transfer to a wire rack using a wide knife. The cookies will be quite thin and tender (similar to Azora cookies) and will also spread quite a bit during baking, so please leave enough space between them!
