Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tsp orange blossom water
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 8 slices of toast
  • e.g. butter for frying
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

French-Moroccan

Beat the eggs with the sugar until light and fluffy. Stir the milk and orange blossom water into the egg mixture. Soak the bread slices in the egg mixture for a few minutes, then drain and fry in butter over medium heat. Dust with powdered sugar to serve.
