Fresh Garden Salad

The perfect fresh garden salad recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 piece Fresh lettuce from our own cultivation
  • 1 Handful Freshly sliced ​​radishes from our own cultivation
  • 1 Handful Mini tomatoes, red and yellow from our own cultivation, quartered
  • 1 tsp Finely chopped radish greens
  • 1 tbsp Seasonal herbs chopped, I had gari chives, home-grown parsley
  • 1 piece Fresh shallot finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp Cold-Pressed sunflower oil
  • 1 tsp Freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 tsp Herb vinegar
  • 0,5 a cup Sour cream
  • 2 tbsp Low-Fat milk
  • 1 pinch Sea salt fine
  • 1 pinch Black pepper from the mill
  • 1 pinch Sugar

  1. I added garden pictures. We have lettuce, radishes, etc. the whole gardening season and often eat them in different variations. Harvested in the morning, eaten at noon. It doesn’t get any fresher.
  2. Prepare the lettuce and spin dry.
  3. Mix all dressing ingredients together well and let them steep a little. Then stir in the sunflower oil until it has dispersed into fine droplets.
  4. Now add the radishes and tomatoes and mix with the dressing.
  5. Finally add the lettuce leaves and mix everything together loosely.
  6. We often eat this salad as a side dish or with boiled eggs and cheese in it, which is added to the ingredients. Then there is homemade spelled bread.
  7. Of course, everyone can change the individual ingredients according to their taste. I make the lettuce, depending on what is growing in the garden every time.
