Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 3 chicory
- 1 pack of cheese (butter), sliced
- 2 packs of bacon
- some lemon juice
- Oil, for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
with butter cheese
Remove the chicory leaves and wash them. Cut the butter cheese slices into 2 1/2 cm thick strips. Then alternate three chicory leaves and the cheese strips on top of each other. Wrap two slices of bacon around them. This will hold the construction together in the pan. Heat a little oil in the pan and briefly fry the chicory parcel on all sides. When the bacon is crispy on the outside, remove it. Finally, drizzle with lemon juice. This is very important for the flavor! Tip: I like to serve the fried chicory on a few lettuce leaves.
