Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 3 bananas
  • curry powder
  • 1 shot of rum, 50%

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Melt butter in a large frying pan. Add sugar and caramelize over medium heat. Peel and halve the bananas. Place them cut-side up in the butter/sugar mixture and sprinkle generously with curry. After 3-4 minutes, carefully turn them over and sprinkle with curry again. Fry for another 3-4 minutes. Pour a little rum (be careful with the amount, as it burns quickly and well) into the pan, light it, and serve immediately.
