Fried Greek Potato
The perfect fried greek potato recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 kg Jacket potatoes from the previous day
- 8 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 Pc. Onions
- 1 Pc. Clove of garlic
- 2 Branches Rosemary
- 1 glass Olives
- Salt pepper
- 1 tbsp Capers
- 200 g Feta
- Spice suggestion: Fried potato spices, Heureka from Herbaria and a Greek spice mix
- Peel the potatoes and either quarter or thinly slice. Cut the peeled onions into thin half rings, finely chop the garlic. Strip off the rosemary and chop finely.
- Heat some oil in a large non-stick pan and fry the potatoes in portions on all sides. Remove and set aside. Then sauté the onion rings in the remaining frying fat for a few minutes. Add the garlic and rosemary.
- Add the potatoes back in. Dice the feta and add with the drained capers and olives. Mix everything well and season with salt, pepper and the suggested spices.
