Fried Meat Loaf Cubes with Lentil Vegetables

The perfect fried meat loaf cubes with lentil vegetables recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 150 g Lentils brown
  • 1 bunch Soup vegetables
  • 450 ml Vegetable broth
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 6 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • 300 g Meatloaf
  • 30 g Butter
  • Salt and pepper
  1. Rinse the lentils with cold water and let them drain. Peel the soup vegetables and cut into 1/2 cm pieces. Caramelize with the sugar in a saucepan and deglaze with the vegetable stock. Add the lentils and cook covered for 30 minutes over a mild heat. Add balsamic vinegar and cook for another 5 minutes. Add the butter and the coarsely chopped parsley, season with salt and pepper. Put warm. Cut the meat loaf into 2 cm pieces and fry in a pan with the butter. Serve with the lentils.
